How this site helps
It raises relevant issues and tries to resolve them. It presents a survey of front-line practitioners. This which shows that there is a great need for more links and collaboration between those supporting the efforts of ex-offenders to make a success of self-employment. We need more networking to promote best practice and provide much needed continuous professional development of teachers delivering enterprise skills to offenders.

The members area
The Learning Journey offers a response to those needs through a members' resource centre to help deliver enterprise skills. There is a library of teaching resources, personal space for members to add their own contributions and a Common Room for professionals to share and discuss.
Members can add to a public news service potentially offering anything, from new projects to job opportunities, or a holiday cottage somewhere nice. There is similar access to an events calendar. Members need no more expertise than word-processing to reach out to the whole community. As you can see from the button below there is plenty of opportunity to participate.
